you should be responsible for your own family etc IMO!there are far better things for tax to go on than a new ipod for little chardonnay!
me: can i have £10 dad?
my dad: hmm, you ask for £10, exepcting £5, you need £3 so here £1
i'm only 33 but we didn't have a telly until 1980 and no video until 1984 and sky in 1985
my first pair of trainers was bought in 1986 and i never got any pocket money at all
now i'm earning a few quid i don't mind spending it, and if there is free money then yes, send it this way, but i don't think that the state paying for the upkeep of your kids is the right way to go about things
if they made the stipulation that you had to be a certain age before you got any benifits or you'd end up out on your ear and your kids taken from you and you'd only get child benifits after it had been means tested and you had to be in a relationship bringing up the child between you are proper parents and you wern't going to get council housing if you have more than 2 kids they'd soon solve the problem
but it's their "human rights" isn't it that they'll be bleating on about
now, if you are happily married and things turn to shit then thats something else, but, at the same time, you can't be expected to have 10 kids from 10 different fathers and expect the state to pay for it, thats just wrong and i challenge anyone to say it's not
