my problem is, i have only ever used windows and am totally used to it and it's install procedures etc.

i am always reading that linux could be better in some ways, but just have no concept of what it is, where to get it, how to install it, how to add code to it or whatever you have to do. i'm sure it's not difficult with some research, but i don't have the inclination
