if the trader purchased it direct frfom last owner they are the only peeps that could have altered the mileage

Now if the traders altered the mileage from knowing it was a high miler thats 100% illeagal and not small claims court but trading standards who would prosecute on behalf of the guy and try to get compensation

The right thing to do is the law and TS

The easiest and probably more likely is call the guy call him a cnut and you know whats happened and ask for cash back if not see comment above
