i have 2 mates with totaly standard rs turbos just mongoose exhaust etc

both of theres have never gone wrong in all the years they have had them

its just when you tune them wrong ie: up the boost without sorting the fueling and ignition then they det then blow up

or you could do the engine right but dont uprate stuff like engine mounts and stuff like that one thing leads to another etc

the best way would uprate everything first then the engine but to do it all properly costs money
