My Sapphire has a steering judder which has become more noticable since I changed the wheels to 17" ones, I've had the wheels balanced again and it seemed to help, changed the anti-roll bar bushes cause they were shot and the bottom ball joints.

Had the 4 wheel alingment checked at a Ford dealer and they said it's spot on.

The dealer suggested it was maybe cause the tyres I've had which came on the wheels (brand new) aren't that expensive, I fail to see how this could affect it to such an extent, seemed to be really they just don't know. It's exactly like the wheels are out of balance but they've been done twice now and they're brand new!
