Just for a change a thread thats technical

My Focus ST has drive by wire throttle - High tech indeed for a Ford !

(For those who dont know what this is.....there is no throttle cable and
the throttle is controlled electronically by a stepper motor)

Got me thinking about current trends and things people want on
their tuned cars.
Not aiming this at the ST in particular but more the methods used for
any turbo'd engine.

I have my own thoughts on this whole subject but would be nice to
hear other opinions ideas on Drive by wire throttle when used in
conjunction with the following methods/parts....

Dump valves
Idle speed control
Traction control
Launch control
Antilag
Emissions
Drivability control
Cruise control
