checking out a used 1993 Mercury Sable
Supposedly when looking at a used Sable you should check the transmission clutch pistion, as that is a vulnerability in the Sable. At least that's what I learned when researching it on the internet. I'm going to look at a used Sable tomorrow, but I don't have a mechanic. Is there some way I can judge whether there might be a potential problem with the transmission clutch piston? For example, by the way it shifts or something?
This car has 140k, engine rebuilt 40k ago according to the seller.
