Why? It's the most expensive part on ANY diesel car [bar the engine] and I guarantee you'll find a few of every diesel model that's had it go
In the last 6 months we've had warranty claims for diesel pumps on a 407 hdi and a Mazda 6. These were both low mileage cars around the £7k bracket, not a cheap old derv Focus!
This Focus we've got is used purely as a hack [it's not done many miles to be fair] and was cheap because it's the booted version - talk about last sweet left in the sweet shop
. I'm pretty sure it's the engine from the Escort vans and how many of those have you seen with loads of miles on?
Stop being such an old woman and get it bought!

going to have a look hopefully in the next few days, if I like it a deposit goes down and that's that !!!
Just don't want a grand bill for a poxy fuel pump.......
