I know this is a really stupid question but i've never had a turbo car. Why do you need a boost gauge as I thought the actuator limits the boost anyway. I know this is probably a really stupid question

The saph i've bought has no after market gauges.

I intend to fit a boost, oil pressure and oil temp gauge anyway.
