personally i'd try and pick up a standard one
remember you will need to get requoted for the insurance when its chipped, and from experience with friends, chipped diesels arent cheap to insure
steer clear of that one, recon engine, shit wheels
you should be able to pick up a nice one for £1500, you may just have to wait as they dont come up for sale all that often, cos people hang onto them
i went in a chipped one, and wasnt all that impressed by the performance, but i havent driven one, and 306's are supposed to handle ace
