My Vec does a 90 mile round trip on A-roads. Takes between 50mins and 1hr 15 dependant on time and traffic (work days and nights). Driving at tea-time going home on days or mid-afternoon on the way to work gets very annoying after a while due to other drivers who dawdle along doing 10/20 mph under the speed limit and thre aren't too many places to overtake due to the level of traffic both ways. Get stuck in a queue and that's it.

Get a bit tired if I'm on days as I'm up around 5:30/ 6am dependant on when we are needed. Nights can get tiring as we never have a set time for finishing..then got an hour travelling home, then swap the cars over so my missus can get out in the morning, chill for a bit as you're wide awake from driving back, get woken early by whoever/ postman/ binmen/ noisy people outside sometimes which can be annoying and not help with tiredness.

BUT it's worth it as if I didn't I would have to pay for a poxy room with crap (normally) meals and be away from home & the missus (and the computer ) all week.
