im just going on what my mate told me,he's a ford mechanic and a very good one at that,as far as i know its a strip down to get to the seals
also have experienced it on other rst's also on my old diesel van
coincidence it may be but if it solves the speedo wobble then who cares
You don't have to go so defensive I was only saying aswell!

A wobbly needle can onyl really be caused by a worn instrument or a fluctuating output on the speedo drive. Hence why i can't see a leaky seal doing it.

Were you talking about the driveshaft oil seals?
wasnt gettin defensive,lack of smilies made it look that way,ill mind and add them in next time

not 100% sure what actual seal it is,ill try and get the info over the weekend if i see him,but its defo a strip down box job to get to them i mind that much
