Yea I managed to get it for £3000. Worth it imo....or woulda been if it was still running
It is absolutely sound, has been re-shelled and the whole underneath has been treated with that oil stuffs.
The engine itself is sweet but for some reason has lost spark. Have been told by the RAC that it is defo the ignition module, but I have bought 3 from local scrap yards and still no spark
Auto electricians round ere are useless as they don't seem to want to come out and diagnose the problem which imo is a bit rubbish of them
So am now going to fit the engine from my RS Turbo and the wiring loom from the smashed van into the good van, and the fast engine into the escort
