Yeah i know that!
But going by what hes said, hes fully adjusted actuator to its limit, as short as the rod will go = loads of pre-load so the wastegate should be firmly shut!
Hes run the car with no pipe connected to the wastegate so as it goes it should boost forever until something lets go and breaks.
The only thing i can think of..........is maybe hes spun the wastegate round the wrong way, and then connected the actuator rod to it. They are a bit pants in that respect
