Tony, mine is deffo a thickwall case as supplied by Bernie, when you put it next to a standard case, it is easy to tell them apart (from the outside - even without the cover removed)....
I edited because I was misled by the pic of the 8mm bolts/studs......
I recall some rally peeps use a standard case and fit a strengthening plate + they drill/tap for the larger 8mm bolts (6 mm fitted to standard diffs).
