If you were not aware that this car had been reshelled and you say you've HPi'd it, I suggest you contact HPi and ask where you stand with them. I understand all the S1 ID has been swapped so it'll only show up as that BUT if people above are saying they are aware of an ID change onto a non-S1 shell, there MUST be a record of it somewhere.

If you were aware You should NOT be trying to sell this as an S1.

I agree that unless you can PROVE this car has been registered and checked with the DVLA [or everyone is just mistaken] you should break it and seek some kind of legal recourse with the previous owner.
