thought i'd posted last night? weird. i'll have to type it again now.

oil surge can be controlled by baffles or gates in the sump.

there have been a few threads on here about people modifying sumps for better oil control. the std 2wd sump has some plates in it to try and control oil surge, but they are not very effective in cornering. most people also 'big wing' the sump - ie. extend the sides of the pan to give more capacity.
