I think they look gash for the amount of time and money that needs to go into them.

As said, each to there own, but i would look at modding your car in other ways. Give it a hard stance and maybe kit it, but try not to stick to an attempted replica of a cosy. The MK4 is to small and the kit makes them look like someone has driven through halfords with there car covered in glue and hoped for the best.

A tastefully done, one off mods MK4 can still be the nuts.

I think you may get some ribbing on this post, but if you have your heart set on it and it makes you happy, then that's all that counts.
