I got insured last year fella and im only 23 so think it depends on who you with. I paid £1100 for the van insurance and it was about £350 i think for the GIT etc on top. Its possible!
yeh i could have got insured but was a hell of a lot of money, got told by a few to wait the extra year then you can get insured by anyone and its a lot cheaper (although courier insurance is bloody expensive anyway)
and tbh i would hire a van instead of buying one, the amount of money you will save is amazing, you have to fork out around a grand at the start for deposit etc then its 400 a month, seems a lot but you never have to worry about breaking the thing as you just get another van
