We had a couple of Mesa's in the music shop I worked in - I was very attached to a Rectifier (don't know which tho [think it was a retro something or other - deffo a valver] but it was a combo, not a seperate head and cab, although we did have a head there) and that was an animal, and had that big, fat Hetfield sound to it
We also had a Laney twin cab with head, and that we couldn't get to over 3 without it feeding back. We couple 4 leads together one day, so the guitarist could stand OUTSIDE the shop (

) and truned it up to 8 - it began to feedback, and when he played the obligatory E power chord, my nuts began to hurt
