The beam is being done for handling and grip.
The diff situ is because is for many reasons.. strength as I'd rather have overkill and fit and forget.. the ATB is a better diff interms of handling and grip.. I want 3.9 ratio and finding a 7'5" in that ratio with LSD is proving very hard and are worth as much as half the cost of the ATB when you can find one.. and I want it to match my front ATB diff.
Plus the only guy I know with a DPE 'gearbox that used it properly broke his rear diff on his Esc Cos
