The stud and nut kit is designed to help prevent 'lift' and also shifting of the head under high boost applications. There has been a few rumours on here of them causing damage ie cracking of the block. Dunno personaly as ive not yet had chance to run my new engine....so I cant comment. They are also re-usable if needs be. If that helps?
