yes that is depending on how the plates are set and the ramp angles

we normaly have them set progressive so one wheel spins quicker than the other when cornering thats what we call "road use"

they are noisey when they are set for "race" use they grind a bit when cornering

when you have them new and they are set for road use they are noisy at first untill the plates bed in and when it's bed in they are quite and you wouldn't know that you had a modded diff in there

i had my diff redone and it was noisy at first but now it's quite even when it's hot so i'm a happy man
