Yeah leave him well alone. A guy tried it with my mate who fully re-built a Mini. He claimed to be American, but was a businessman in South Africa, living in France! Said he'd send the money and stuff, and would have it collected from his home address. Then all these stories started flooding in of people paying the money, then the cheque bouncing days after they collected the car. They even offered cash incentives if you dealt with it quickly etc. He tried to get the police involved, and they were up for it, but the guy smelt a rat and ceased contact. Mate got an almost identical email from a Belgian person a few days later. They just want to buy, not even bothered about the price or condition. Cash in hand...ya can't beat it.
