Ok Guys,
Some time ago the Rep from Adesco products asked me to use some of this in place of the Loctite products i normally use so ive done just that on a couple of engines and had no problems so far with each tyope of product performing faultlessly and as expected so far.. but more scientifically i have tested various types of fastener with this product against my normal Loctite equivalent and can confirm it does seem to show exactly the same properties, including the all important "Crack off test"

Test 1:
1) Tighten bolt to 30Lb.
2) Wait 15 mins.
3) Check torque required to crack off. (47lb)
4) Apply stud lock. Retorque to 30lb.
5) Wait 15mins
6) Check torque required to crack off. (71lb )

Notes:
1) Product certainly cures well and adheres the fastener in place.
2) Stu uses too much of it

Test 2: (Glue)
1) Cut rubber fuel line clean in 2.
2) Apply glue as instructed to both surfaces.
3) Hold together for 30 seconds.
4) Get hold of each end with mole grips and try to pull apart.
5) Get Gus to take over one end and try again.
6) Repeat above using a vice cos we cant get enough grip.
7) Give up... fooking fantastic stuff.. ive glued loads with it now

Notes:
1) Dont apply to surfaces you dont want it on. (Fingers )
2) Dont let Gus loose with Glue

Seriously though:
The products are certainly far more technical than this in reality but thats all teh end user needs to know as thats all it has to do for us, we need it to keep a fastener torqued to the setting we left it at under all manner of adverse conditions from heat to severe vibration. Adesco certainly works and will be my checmical of choice from now on as its MUCH cheaper than the other market leaders!!

Anyone wishing to purchase some (And you should if your assembling important and expensive components) can obtain it at a great price from here:
