why cant i watch any vids on you tube now

it just keeps saying

" Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player. "

i have just installed REGCURE and Xoftspy anti virus software if this helps and i have down loaded the latest flash player but still nothing or how do i turn the javascript back on
