hence you will get slagged from both sides. From the crowd pleasing, loving chav's.. for playing different, unknown stuff... and the original heads who will slate you for always playing the same old BIG tunes.

Very true.
Thats how if your a good enough dj you can tell what kind of set to play.
If your at a club where it just seems to be full of any tom dick and harry its best just to keep it comercial / just drop classics.
But if your playin at an event where it's dedicated to that genre, i always play darker, more experimental, but still dropping the odd floorfiller
