Decent roof aerial costs abotu £20-£25, installation varies of course. Get it replaced, and when you do, have them use satallite grade coax, and if you have to split it, split it in the loft and use and amplified splitter box, and don't split the cable off again after that - just run one length of coax to each point (one in each room you want a TV point to be in)
