Try putting a correct size fuse back in (not a 10A!) and see what happens then. By the sound of it, if they came on briefly after replacing the 20A fuse with a 10A, they just blew the 10A one, most probably because it wasn't the correct size! (I Don't know what it should be on a Saff)
