Thanks for the replys. Some mixed opinions.

Steve: you obviosuly missed the bit that said "dont cost the earth" proper diff is £1K + and suspension geometry requires a rear beam but you are correct. If only i had the money.

Black RS: That was the sort of info i was after, but taking a grinder to it

Rich: Yes track days are in mind. You just cant drive real fast these days on the roads unless its like 3am and the roads are deserted.

JB: I have fitted Gaybird shims on mine. Easy to do and im sure they make a difference
