Thats how these things are tested in the real world.

There is a vast new range of calipers ready but maninly not being released until these tests have been completed.

AP have had a namehold on the market for years, If you can afford them then for sure buy them, but there are comparable products out there that will do a similar job at a lower price.

Remember the pad does most of the work if you put the same pad in some calipers IMHO you would not know the difference.

AP people with a pride for the name will disagree.

People Buy AP because of the name ,,Like designer clothes , they both keep you dry and warm its just one costs 3 times as much
