I'd be very surprised if you see an output from the coil on a digital multimeter........and being as its a hall effect sensor you won't see a resistance value anyway.

If you want to check your dizzy is working listen for the fuel pump running when you crank the engine over, if the pump doesnt run its a 99.9% give away the dizzy is gone.
