G plate 2wd, stage 3, Rs 500 cooler, RR@329bhp with 20psi boost.
Had it 3 weeks and head gasket went.
Changed gasket and it was still poorly.
Head off and tested revealed a crack.
Another head bought and fitted and it was still poorly.
Engine out, block tested and found a cylinder liner cracked.
Liner replaced and a full engine rebuild.
Sweet as a nut while running it in.
1100 miles after rebuild it was mixing oil and water again after a bit of full boost when coming onto the A1 from my local RSOC meet.
Sold the car, had a runabout for a while and bought another
G plate 2wd, stage 3, T34.
Had it 4 days and it dropped to 3 cylinders.
Took ECU out and put it back in and it was fine somehow????
2 weeks later I cleaned the idle valve because of hunting on idle.
Now its back on 3 again and overfuelling like a bastard.
These cars really dislike me, its a love hate thing. I love them and they hate me.
