all the wires fell out of the ECU socket when I removed it. I have no idea which one goes where.. any idea which colour goes to which socket??
Here you go mate, you should see the numbers on the side of the plug that goes into the ECU
Terminal 1 Brown 2 Green 3 Red 4 Brown 5 Yellow 6 Black 7 White 8 Outer Sheath of crank sensor, tape wire 9 Grey 10 White / Blue 11 Blue 12 Yellow. Hope this helps. Number sequence is looking at the plug 1 top left 3 is next on top 5, 7, 9, 11.
Number 2 is bottom left, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12.

I can't get the steering column off. I've taken off the two nuts and two bolts holding it but it won't budge. An I missing something? do i need to take the steering column off or can I sqeeze this through the hole in the dash whilst still fitted??
Not sure how it comes off TBH but you should just have enough room to squeeze it past the ignition barrel, just be careful
