i think its down to personal prefance,

if a 400 bhp fwd rst/frst was set up properly, and driven well, 11's are on the cards, even on good road tyres.

For the life of me I cant understand why people think a RST doesnt handle on track.Every year, for the past 5/6 years at National Day I pass Cossie's in my RST,and when I get talking to the owners they all have at least 150 BHP more than me!!!!Have done the same at Castle Combe over the years too.Am getting a little tired of my RST but am very reluctant to spend thousands on a Cossie track car to find it laps the same or slower than my RST,and slightly off topic, but after reading countless topic's on Passionford about Cossie owners having their cars break down,I'm not too sure a Cossie would be reliable either.Regards,Micky

sounds more like you drive it well, and use it to its full, where trackdays i've been on, theres alot of people that dont push it, or know there cars capabilitys.

I think the cars that have given big power FWD's a bad name, have had a bucket load of money spent on the engine, and maybe missed a few other important areas out!
Mines 270ish and it does 12.7 1/4's, 0-100 in 9.5, quick enough to put many high power rwd cossies to shame.

mine was 180 bhp, and run 13.6 @ 100, in full road trim, and tyres.
