Nope, they're still a 174bhp 2.8 VR6.......
Highlines were just trim level
The Corrados were 2.9
Yip only corrado's were 2.9 and suffered from heat soak due to the overbore of the 2.8 block.More torque etc so better in long run imo but a good tuned late spec golf with obd2 is quicker than a 2.9
