there must be a reason for this low miles. in the grand scheme of things its only a s2 turbo. not a homologation special like a escos big turbo or an rs500, so i can understand a collector keeping it with sod all miles from new (escos and 500)
but a s2?? maybe some bought it then died, and the family didnt sell it off?
maybe it was smashed heavily on way back from the dealers and sat around a long time before repair?
it would be like someone buying the new st focus
and just leaving it for 18 years. WHY? it once again is no homologation special and in 18 years will be worth 5k at a push with stupidly low mileage?
i love low mileage cars but agree dave hay, i would be persoannly worried about gettin it dirty
