Doug - I looked at those 50" RP LCD screens - Argos were doing them for £899 (think it was the model spec below the one you got, as there is two - old one and new one)

What are you talking about tho when you say "equates to about 32" in the real world" ???

Lastly, what do find the SD display content to be like? As in, normal SD DVD's, normal Freeview TV - as I won't be getting anything HD for a long time (no HD-DVD/Bluray or Sky/NTL HD for me - and I don't do games consoles either)
