If the avi you have is on for more than 80mins then it wont fit onto a cdr as a vcd as I'm guessing yours is with it turning out at 900Mb. You will need to split the 900Mb vcd into 2 parts and burn each of them onto disks, to fit on one 80 min cdr you need to encode it to kvcd if it's more than 80mins long or you could just use Nero Vision Express to encode the avi to dvd format and burn it onto a dvd.
Cheers mate, I've split it and its going on 2 VCD's, although I've never tried a VCD on the DVD player so not sure it will play them. I have a AVI - DVD converter program, but it takes ages so I was looking for a quick way to burn a file so I can watch it straight away.
Is there a quicker prgram for avi to dvd conversion? I use winAVI
