Should fire your 1600 up fine yeah, it won't be spot on, but you'll know if it's a good ecu or not.

If you can't get it running right, or if they sold you the wrong ecu etc, (it should be fine) I might have the thing for you, mappable piggyback chip for zetec ecu's. Got it for my 3i but am going a different route now. It has a zetec turbo map loaded on it atm but can be re-written infinite times, so if you went for TB's, cams, nos, forced induction etc you can re-map it.
