Following on from Lee Reynolds thread ad the converstaion I was having with James (EIL132) I have pretty much decided on the 4x4 Cos intercooler converison, which necesitates (sp) custom short-height rad and reversed charge-carrier for single pass set up, ala;
Now this, I'm told, fits beautifully behiond the S1 grille, and with the half height rad (so that the cooler sits on top of the rad, not in front of it) there's no engine cooling issues, and the i/c is in prime location for maximum air flow.....
BUT!
Now I've been looking at EsCos inter/charge coolers
Is this gonna be worth it or is there no real difference over the Saff 4x4 one, and how much longer is it than the Saff cooler, as if it's much longer it might not clear my headlights
(Also, does anyone (inc tuner or breaker) have a knackered or damaged EsCos cooler I could have to fook about with to see how it might fit?)
