Is this a small-turbo EEC4 car Paul? The PS pressure switch is normally fed into the ECU for idle speed control input. It is also used as an input during some test/diagnostic processes on the EEC4 ECU to perform some service tests.
If the EEC4 ECU is no longer fitted, then the switch will have no purpose AFAIK.
