well that's two pumps i've tried, i initially got one from the scrappy and it buzzed the same. I mate took that one to try as his car was running a tad lean and didn't solve the problem so he gave me his as it was easier that switching them again.

It's a '93 K plate sierra... i don't know which tank it has?!

Aye well i'll go to the scrappy shortly but in the meantime i'll just relocate the pump near the tank for now.
