I found that the longer studs fouled on the hub carrier's when trying to fit them. The standard studs come out easy enuff due to being much shorter. Regarding not needing to replace the wheel bearings...ive never known any1 be able to remove a hub flange from its carrier with out pulling the most outer bearings inner race out with it? And its seems to make perfect sence to me to change the bearing regardless if you've already stripped the whole thing down anyhow.
