what ive done is changed the water temp dial to one tht i know works, its off a set of clocks out of my old mk5 escort. anyway, it does the same thing, it has power cos wen u turn ignition on/off it will move very slightly, but its as if ther is no signal. ive checked wher the sender connects to the plug and a parts shop said to bridge the wire to see if the guage moves at all thn, i did tht and still no change, so im thinking tht its along the loom somewhere where the prob is. any thoughts?? cheers for the gearbox tip
