the longer fith gear ratio was an option with all new cts stage 2 or plus box's. The buyer would have had to ask if he/she wanted it and i think it was at an aditional cost however am unsure. The final drive on an escort s2 rst is perfect in my opinion and i think the majority opted for the standard ratio, the best way to tell is:
look at the stamp on the box, its on the bellhousing above where the amal valve attaches, then phone cts and they will have the full spec

p.s i wouldnt trust your standard rev counters unless you have had them both calibrated.
