I owned a 2wd Gplate 145k mile sapphire for 4 yrs, It ran well for a year- Very little trouble , then it blew a head gasket when tweaked to stg1, then another at Stg3 330bhp, Power steering pipe split and crank sensor failed, the cam belt snapped due to an oil leak behind the cam belt cover , the alarm went a knacker, a starter and alternator stopped working and radiator leaked, 2x batteries died then the T3turbo went and the diff pinion and crown was stripped and the Gearbox followed shortly after. After that I had water in the sump and Ive now broken it for my new project Cossie can cost a fortune If I had left it standard and just drove it sensibly, it may have been OK still, but only the OK
