Rapid - so if it's a DVD, the files will be VOB as you said. What you need to do is rip it from the DVD into a different format, not the native format. Most people rip to AVI (DivX/XviD) - tho I am not sure if Photobucket accepts AVI files...

The first programme that comes up in a Google serach is this one;

This rips the DVD and then converts the files to an MPEG file format.
