Default best sat nav for sub £200

preferably tom tom but are there others to recomend?
or do i wait till after crhimbo for the sales?
and do they all need a subscription or can you just buy one and be done with it?

other questions that i might want to ask if i had more money are:
what about all these ones that are fitted to cars as standard and talk about getting discs to update them with? is that a different kettle of fish altogehter?
and can i get something that will work with a tracker as well as having sat nav?
can i get soemthing like we've got at work where the tracker and the satnav and other wireless stuff like internet and that sort of malarkey all run from the same source?

etc

thanks
