there should be one pipe going to the turbo compressor housing from the amal valve (the small plastic round thing with a plug on top of it.)

there should also be another pipe from this amal valve going to the actuator.

the small tee-off you describe will be what normally connects to the air filter housing on a standard car,i'm presuming you still have the standard turbo to air filter pipe,but with a cone filter?

the map sensor is located on the bulkhead behind the inlet manifold,the pipe should join to the inlet manifold somewhere,preferably with no tee-offs to anything else (althoug from the top of my head it may also be with the vacuum pipe for the brake servo.

reconnect the pipes as mentioned and hopefully your car will behave better
